PROMPT Therapist

Overview
We offer a fantastic opportunity for Speech Therapists! S.M.I.L.E.S. provides cutting edge therapy services from traditional to specialized techniques such as PROMPT Therapy.

Position Type
Part-time PROMPT Therapist contractor position with the potential of becoming a full-time member. If you are not trained in the PROMPT Technique, but you’re interested in a long term opportunity with us, we will provide the funding for PROMPT Training for the right candidate!

Salary
Commensurate with experience.

Occupational Therapist

Overview
We offer a fantastic financial and developmental opportunity for Occupational Therapists! We’re looking for an exceptional OT candidate possessing a specialized skill set that focuses on helping children to develop excellent sensory integration skills, fine motor and self-care skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 Year Degree – Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a pediatric environment preferred
  • Experience or certification in sensory processing disorders, rhythmic movement, BRAIN GYM, S’cool Moves, Bal-a-Vis-X, NDT, Body-Brain Connection, Therapeutic Listening, or other comparable certifications or experience
  • The ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
  • Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
  • Manages schedule and case load efficiently and effectively
  • Completes administrative tasks and communicates with clients in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates clients and develops individualized treatment plans and goals consistent with client’s diagnosis and status
  • Implements treatment plan and monitors clients response
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to clients and/or family needs, customs or feelings
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information
  • Ability to follow and uphold SMILES’ policies and procedures
